Automatic Battery Isolator

Automatic Battery Isolator is British designed and built to prevent connected equipment from over-discharging the vehicle battery and rendering it unable to start.

When the battery voltage has dropped to the predetermined level and remained there for a set time, it will isolate the battery from the loads, ensuring the vehicle is capable of restarting and helping to prevent life shortening damage to the battery.

The robust and compact unit has a built in digital controller and heavy duty contactor, a switch for mounting in the cab is also supplied to reset the Battery Isolator after isolation.

The switch can also be used to manually activate the Battery Isolator. Fitted with Ignition inhibit and voltage sensing to prevent accidental activation when the engine is running.

To ensure that equipment not managed by the Battery Isolator does not further over-discharge the battery, an optional SMS-Text message function can alert up to 4 mobile phones that the Battery Isolator has been activated.

IP66 Version available.

Fully programmable in-situ*, this allows the isolation voltage and/or the time delay to be adjusted to suit the vehicle application.
